ITC GRAND, GOA
ITC Grand Goa is located in the Arrossim beach area of Goa. It has been designed with a series of tropical gardens and water canal systems. The project was designed in association with Simeon Halstead of Arcadia, of which we were the resident architects. The 250-room resort hotel is designed in a cottage-type development around lagoons. The Portuguese style mixed with the idea of a layout of a typical Goan village.
Originally the site was a mining location, the site terrain was utilized in its original state to create a series of natural water systems that bring the water into the resort. Due to the restriction of maintaining the distance from the sea, the concept entailed bring the horizon of the sea, into the resort.

HYATT REGENCY, NEW DELHI
The Asian Games were held in New Delhi in 1982 for which there was a large construction of flyovers, stadiums, and hotels. The Hyatt Regency hotel was built during this time, on a site of 2 hectares at the Northwestern corner of a commercial development.
The design of the hotel follows a form of staggered rooms that step back in an ordered format set in landscaped garden courts.
Each room enjoys a view, with this staggered composition in the design.

HYATT REGENCY, KOLKATA
The Hyatt Regency Kolkata is located in the Salt Lake area of Kolkata. It has been designed with a series of gardens and terraced gardens providing a feeling of a tropical jungle within the confines of the city.
This hotel brings back memories of Kolkata's glorious past capturing the elegance and grandeur of the Colonial influence, set in a contemporary format.

COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, GURGAON
The Courtyard by Marriott, strategically located at the Trade Center in Gurgaon, is a hotel development including 198 guest rooms and suites, meeting rooms, two restaurants, and associated support functions. The project is envisioned as an exclusive destination, set back from the street and arrived at through a series of elegant, understated limestone walls and lush landscaping. The heart of the project is an inwardly focused landscaped courtyard, accessed at the ground floor off the lobby and stepping up dramatically to extensive terrace gardens and a swimming pool. The guest rooms and suites are located in a 13-storeyed tower, tapped by an executive lounge with expansive territorial views. The building form is conceived as a dynamic, metal-clad slab, punctured at the center by the stone guest room block. This inward-focused development is capped with vibrant sloping roof forms that reach out to the context.

RESORT AT AURANGABAD
The 101 Keys resort is designed on a 15-acre site, near the backdrop of the Aurangabad Fort.
Large Pillarless Banquet hall with Garden spaces for large family weddings with an expanse of 50,000 Square feet formed the focus of the design as per the clients requirement. The fort which is nearby forms views and its architecture has inspired the architectural forms of the building. The Public spaces are divided with a separate portion of the site for the Banquet halls with Back-of-house facilities, a Garden and separate drop off with parking facilities.

ITC GRAND GOA EXPANSION BANQUET HALL COMPLEX, ARROSSIM BEACH
Expansion of the Resort was undertaken in 2021 for a Banquet Hall complex which has Patio and Garden spaces. Our endevaour was to respect the original design language and create a seamless design which merges with the established resort architecture. The Banquet Hall complex has its own lagoon system which weaves into the public circulation, offering many outdoor landscaped garden spaces for event venues.
HYATT REGENCY EXPANSION, NEW DELHI
The Hyatt Regency Hotel is located at Bhikaji Cama Place District Centre and was built in 1982 at the time of the Asiad 1982. The owners have proposed an extension to the existing hotel. A. An independent block for serviced apartments and offices. This block is located on the Southeast end of the site. It is designed as a G+12 floor tower block. The building reflects the idiom of the staggered form of the existing building. The external cladding is in Dholpur stone, similar to the existing building. Addition of guestrooms on the existing hotel on the two wings flanking the Pool courtyard.

Expansion of the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Kolkata was proposed to consume the balance and enhanced FAR with addition of 150 Guest rooms, Service Apartments and commercial space in one tower with stepped down terraces to reduce the bulk and an extension to existing ballroom facilities.

This Club is designed to be Serviced apartments for long term stay with a facility of Gymnasium Terrace garden with Swimming pool and entertainment zones for the guests. This would allow for the guests to use the facilities provided in-house. The Club also functions to be a high end Club for the residents of Noida living in adjoining areas.

The Design provides for two independent Hotels, in two tower blocks containing approx 220 bays each in guestrooms, meeting and conference rooms on 11 floors. The lower 3 floors are used for the Public areas for Restaurants, Banquet Halls, Lobby, lounge, Health Club, Business Centre etc. These lower floors cascade off landscaped terraces, providing for spill out of Ban- quet/Restaurants/swimming pools etc. Each Hotel is entered from the primary road on the East, with a drop off at the Porch and an independent entry is provided for the Banquet Hall. The retail is designed with a two storeyed atrium with shops on either side, and an Anchor store at the end.

NINEVAH PALACE HOTEL, MOSUL, IRAQ
This 250-room four-star hotel was built in Mosul, Iraq. The hotel was a winning entry in a competition. The form of the hotel has been inspired by the Ziggurat forms of Iraq.
And it expresses this form by a large stepped atrium and a stepped exterior facade.
The use of intensive garden's with cascading water has also been inspired by the prevalent styles of architecture in Iraq and the middle east. Thus keeping the aesthetic an inspiration from the vernalcular forms, set in a contemporary rendition.

ASHOK YATRI NIWAS, NEW DELHI
This 565-room Hotel was an economy hotel that was built for the Indian Tourism Development Corporation and was to be a prototype for future low-budget hotels across the country. The design provided a very compact hotel with minimum circulation area and used prefabrication techniques for the construction process. The use of local craftsmanship and low-budget interior design were also criteria in the design of the hotel, in order to keep within the budgetary constraints. The design provided for a very compact hotel, minimum circulation areas, and prefabrication.

LAKE RESORT, DOKAN, IRAQ
This Hotel is a 100-room resort hotel which was a winning entry for a competition located in a hilly area of Iraq.
The site was located on a very steep slope and the design respected the contours, building with the land, in the form of cottages which kept within the contoured format.
